Outdoor Facilities & Activities

Four hard-surface tennis courts, and one soft court are available for member play. The courts can be lighted for night use. Please call ahead to reserve courts - especially the soft court as it requires a combination to enter (843)332-9391. Hard Court #4 is open for use at all times without a reservation.

A pool and cabana are available for member use. Changing facilities and vending machines for snacks are also here.

A safe, fun playground for kids, with a variety of activities and equipment, from a climbable dinosaur to traditional swings and see-saws.

For those who just want to relax and not care about activities, you can enjoy nature on a nature trail, or just sit and watch our "Canadian" friends groom themselves as they get ready to continue their migration. The grounds are beautiful all year round, with seasonal plants, trees, shrubs and flowers.

Relax on our deck and watch the Lake go by. If the weather is nice, you'll see water sports and fishermen trying their luck.

Immediately adjacent to the playground area are picnic pavilions, with large tables. Bring a crowd for a picnic, let the kids run and play, and relax while you watch them.

A covered boat slip is available for boat storage.

For those who "bring their own," a concrete boat ramp for launching is available. The adjacent dock is large and comfortable. Sit and relax, or try your luck at fishing.

Prestwood Lake is a large recreational lake, and Black Creek is navigable for those who want to try their hand at canoeing or boating. A covered kayak stand is available should you wish to keep your personal kayak or canoe at Prestwood. Graded foot ramp into the water is located at the kayak stand for easier entry and exit into and out of your kayak or canoe.

For the more adventuresome, there is plenty of room on the lake for water skiing, kneeboarding or jet skis.
